BEC owns marquees, tables and event equipment available to villagers and community groups at preferential rates.
Over the years BEC has invested in a range of equipment that we use to stage our own events — and which we make available to people in the villages at preferential rates. Whether you're hosting a garden party, a village gathering or a community fundraiser, we may be able to help.
All equipment is stored at the village hall premises. Japh Slaney looks after all of BEC's marquees — maintaining, repairing and booking them out. Contact Japh to check availability.
Our large marquee (approx. 4m × 8m) is suitable for significant gatherings — used each year for Fireworks Night and Fun on the Green. Available for hire for village events.
Enquire about availability →We have several smaller marquees (approx. 3m × 6m each), ideal for garden parties, village gatherings and community events. Popular with villagers hosting private functions.
Enquire about availability →Oblong folding tables (seat 6) and round tables (seat up to 8 at a squeeze) to complement the marquees. Please note we don't have chairs for hire.
